Kaemel Ragheb

Kaemel Ragheb is a student of the University of St. Gallen (HSG) in Switzerland. Currently taking a gap year, he will return for his final semester of master’s studies in economics in 2022. Kaemel Ragheb holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Birmingham (UK) and was awarded a U21 bursary in 2018 to study the development of Hong Kong as an international financial centre.

Throughout his studies, Kaemel Ragheb has taken multiple courses on China’s economy and policy, including China-Africa relations. In previous research he critically compared the educational partnerships between Africa, China and Europe, a topic he will research further during his time at EIAS.
