Editor, EurAsia Bulletin - John Quigley

John Quigley

editor John Quigley is the Editor of EurAsia Bulletin, a publication of the European Institute for Asian Studies (EIAS), having been promoted from Assistant Editor in 2004. Mr Quigley has seven years of experience in EU-Asia relations, analysing and reporting on the policies and practices of the EU in Asia. Educated at the National University of Ireland, University College Dublin, Mr Quigley is the author (and co-author) of numerous research studies, articles and commentaries and has contributed frequently to the international press. Frequently, he has elaborated this work through presentations and lectures.

Before joining EIAS, Mr Quigley worked in Brussels-based consultancies and in the European Commission and Parliament. In his spare time, Mr Quigley has followed the debate on the EU institutional architecture and served three years as the Hon. Secretary of the Institute of European Affairs, Brussels Branch, and is the current Hon. Secretary to the NUJ Continental European Council.
