In December 2015 Programme Coordinator Jim Stoopman and Associate Omar Alam participated in a high-level conference on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor that took place at Government College, Lahore, Pakistan. In the presence of Chief Minister of Punjab, Mr. Shehbaz Sharif and the Minister of Planning, National Reforms, and Development, Mr Ashan Iqbal, participants sought to explore the economic, political, strategic, and social dimensions of CPEC and covered a wide range of subject of interest and concern to Pakistan and China
