Pristine Gabrielle Ramos holds an MA in Global and European Politics
with a specialisation in Food Policy at Université Catholique de Lille
in France. Her master’s thesis examined the role of ASEAN food policies
in the Philippines, taking into account policy harmonisation and the
social aspects of food and agriculture. She has a keen interest in
agro-food studies, international development and diplomacy, particularly
between Europe and Southeast Asia.
Pristine obtained her BA in Consular and Diplomatic Affairs in the
Philippines in 2016 and has subsequently worked for Ernst and Young
Philippines as a Global Immigration Associate.
Throughout her time at EIAS, Pristine hopes to deepen her knowledge in
EU-Asia relations and further contribute to research, notably in the
food and agricultural sector where both regions are proven to play a
significant and complementary role globally.
